Yamaha has introduced the new 2025 model of its popular street bike MT 15 V2 in a new avatar. This bike has been very popular among the youth and is now available in the market with even better features, excellent performance and high-tech technology. The design of this bike is aggressive and has many elements that make it challenging for bikes like Pulsar and KTM Duke.
The Yamaha MT 15 V2 gets a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 18.1 bhp of power and 14.1 Nm of torque. This engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission with a 1 down 5 up gear shift pattern.
It has an Assist & Slipper Clutch which makes gear shifting smooth and prevents wheel lock while downshifting. The top speed of the bike is around 130 kmph and the riding range goes up to 460 km.
The mileage of MT 15 V2 is also very good. According to the riders, this bike gives an average mileage of 46 kmpl. With its 10 liter fuel tank capacity and 1.6 liter reserve, this bike becomes a perfect choice for long rides.
It has a dual channel ABS system which keeps the bike stable during braking. There is a 282 mm disc brake at the front and a 220 mm disc brake at the rear. This keeps the braking under control even at high speed.
The Yamaha MT 15 V2 gets Upside Down (USD) front forks at the front and Linked-Type Monocross suspension at the rear. A preload adjuster is also provided in the rear suspension for riding comfort. Its Deltabox frame helps in giving stability and balance to the bike.
