2025 Triumph Trident 660 Launched with Game-Changing Features!

Triumph Trident 660 :- British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has launched the updated 2025 model of its popular middleweight naked bike Trident 660 in India. The ex-showroom price of this new bike has been kept at ₹ 8.49 lakh. The Triumph Trident 660 is now available to Indian customers with more features and technical upgrades than before, which make it even more attractive.

Powerful engine and performance

The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 gets the same 660cc liquid-cooled, 12-valve, inline three-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 81 PS at 10,250 rpm and a peak torque of 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.

Fueling is managed via electronic throttle control and it gets a stainless steel 3-in-1 exhaust system, which ends in a low-slung silencer. This engine unit is not only powerful but also gives excellent control in traffic.

Suspension and braking system

The new Triumph Trident 660 gets Showa’s 41 mm upside down SFF-BP forks as front suspension, which offer 120 mm of travel. At the same time, there is a preload adjustable Showa monoshock suspension at the rear, which gives 130 mm of travel.

Talking about the braking system, the bike has dual 310 mm disc brakes at the front with Nissin’s two-piston calipers. There is a single 255 mm disc brake at the rear. Both wheels have been provided with cornering ABS, which improves the safety level.

Wheels, Tyres and Riding Dynamics

Both the Trident 660 comes with 17-inch cast alloy wheels, which are equipped with Michelin Road 5 tyres of 120/70 R17 at the front and 180/55 R17 at the rear. This combination provides the rider with excellent grip and stability, especially at high-speeds or even on rough roads.

It has a wheelbase of 1401 mm and a rake angle of 24.6 degrees, which makes the bike extremely agile on urban roads. It weighs 190 kg (wet weight) and has a seat height of 805 mm, making it comfortable for both new and experienced riders.

Technology and Features

The 2025 Trident 660 now has new advanced features added. This includes premium features like cruise control and quickshifter support, which were not available earlier. To further enhance the riding experience, it has three riding modes – Sport, Road and Rain.

Apart from this, it gets a TFT-integrated LCD instrument cluster, which supports Triumph’s connectivity module. Through this module, the rider can do turn-by-turn navigation, phone and media integration and even GoPro control.

Design and Accessibility

The design of the new Trident 660 has been kept compact so that it is easy for all riders. Its 14-liter fuel tank is suitable for long distance riding and makes the bike’s profile slim.

The 805 mm seat height and balanced ergonomics make it suitable for short height riders as well. The positioning of the handlebar and footpegs has been optimized for comfortable riding.

Accessories and Customization

The company has also introduced many customization options for the Triumph Trident 660. It includes heated grips, USB charger, scrolling indicators, tyre pressure monitoring system, and different luggage options like tail pack and tank bags.

Apart from this, you can also add styling elements like bar-end mirrors, flyscreen and aluminium belly pan to the bike, which makes the bike’s personality even more attractive.

Service interval and reliability

The Triumph Trident 660 is offered with a service interval of 16,000 km or 12 months (whichever is earlier). This allows owners to worry less about maintenance and focus on long rides.

Competitors in India

In the Indian market, the Triumph Trident 660 competes with bikes like the Yamaha MT-07, Kawasaki Z650 and Honda CB650R. However, the Trident’s three-cylinder engine and Triumph’s premium brand value give it a distinct identity.

Conclusion

The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 has come as a great option for all those bike lovers who are looking for a stylish, powerful and technology-packed middleweight bike. New features like cruise control, quickshifter support, traction control, riding modes and connectivity options make it an all-rounder package.

By updating this bike, Triumph has clearly indicated that they want to strengthen their hold in the Indian premium bike segment. If you are looking for a bike that offers a reliable, feature-loaded and engaging riding experience, then the new Triumph Trident 660 should definitely be on your list.
