Toyota Glanza Now Safer Than Ever – 6 Airbags Standard Across All Variants!

Toyota Glanza: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has now made its most affordable premium hatchback Glanza in the Indian market even safer. The company has included 6 airbags as a standard feature in all variants. This decision reflects the company’s seriousness about vehicle safety in India. After Maruti Baleno, this feature is now available in Glanza as well, which will give more security and confidence to the customers.

Standard 6 airbags

Glanza now comes with 6 airbags in all its E, S, G and V variants. The cheapest E MT variant is priced at ₹ 6.9 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top variant V AMT is priced at ₹ 10 lakh (ex-showroom). With this decision, this car has become the only hatchback in the segment that offers equally high safety levels in every variant.

Engine and performance

Toyota Glanza still gets the same 1.2 liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces 89 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque on petrol. At the same time, in the CNG version, the same engine provides 76 bhp and 98.5 Nm of torque. Customers also get the option of CNG in S and G variants, which makes this car more economical and environmentally friendly.

Toyota Glanza mileage

The mileage of Toyota Glanza is also very good in this segment. In the petrol version, this car gives a mileage of up to 22.94 km per liter, while the CNG version gives an average of up to 30.61 km per kilogram. These figures show that Glanza is not only safe, but also great in fuel savings.

Prestige Edition

Toyota has also launched a new version of Glanza – Prestige Edition. This edition is customized with special accessories at the dealer level and is available for a limited time. The Prestige Edition includes stylish features like chrome accents on side body molding, chrome garnish on door visor, tail light and ORVM, rear bumper garnish and illuminated door sills. This makes the look of the car look even more premium.

Safety features

Apart from 6 airbags, many other safety features have also been provided in Toyota Glanza. These include ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), traction control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, 3-point seat belts and seat belt reminder. All these features together ensure maximum safety to the driver and passengers, especially during long journeys.

Comfort and technology

Glanza offers many comfort features like power steering, power windows, automatic climate control, driver and passenger airbags, multifunction steering wheel and alloy wheels. Apart from this, smart connectivity features like touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also available in higher variants. All these features make Glanza a modern and user-friendly car.

Maintenance and service cost

The annual service cost of Toyota Glanza is also very low. According to the company, its average service cost for 5 years is ₹ 3,393.8 per year. This means that this car will not put much burden on your pocket in the long run and it is also an economical option in terms of maintenance.

Conclusion

Toyota Glanza has now become a better, safer and stylish premium hatchback. The standard 6 airbags available in it make it one of the safest cars in the segment. Also, its high mileage, CNG option and premium look are fully capable of attracting customers. Limited edition options like Prestige Edition make it even more special. If you are looking for a car that balances safety, style and mileage, then the new Toyota Glanza could be an ideal choice for you.
