The real price of Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is around ₹ 2 crores, but recently a Fortuner has surfaced on social media and in the car market, which looks like Land Cruiser 300 and its price is being told to be only ₹ 26.75 lakhs. That is, an SUV that looks like a Land Cruiser at about 1/7th the price.

What is the matter?

Actually, this is not LC300 but Toyota Fortuner, which has been completely modified to look like LC300. The owner of the vehicle has installed a new LC300 body kit which includes front grill, headlight design, new alloy wheels and LED taillamps. Looking at the front look, anyone can mistake it for a Land Cruiser at first glance. This Fortuner is a 2017 model 4×2 diesel automatic.

LC300 Exterior

Many changes have been made in this modified Fortuner from front to rear. A new LC300 grill has been given at the front which gives it a strong and luxurious look. The design of the headlamps and DRLs has also been changed. Large size dual-tone alloy wheels have been installed in the SUV which give an appeal like Land Cruiser. Modified LED taillamps and chrome garnishing have been done at the rear, which makes its rear profile also look premium.

Interior

Although the interior of this SUV has not been shown much, but according to the information, it has a steering wheel like LC300. The rest of the interior changes have not been confirmed, but it is believed that there may be some changes in the interior like leather seats and ambient lighting.

Engine and performance

This SUV is actually Toyota Fortuner which comes with a 2.8 liter diesel engine. This engine generates power of about 174 bhp and torque of 450 Nm. It has an automatic gearbox and it is a rear wheel drive version. That is, in terms of performance, it is a strong SUV, even if it is not the real LC300.

Features of the real LC300

Talking about the real Toyota LC300, it is a full size premium SUV that comes with a 3346cc twin turbo petrol engine. This engine produces 304.41 bhp of power and 700 Nm of torque. It has a 10-speed automatic gearbox and 4WD drivetrain. Apart from this, it has many premium features like powered seats, four zone auto climate control, JBL speaker system, sunroof, heads-up display, 360 degree camera and ADAS.

Mileage and tank capacity

The LC300 petrol version gives an ARAI mileage of 11 kmpl and has a large fuel tank of 110 liters. Its top speed is 165 kmph. While the mileage of Fortuner diesel is considered to be around 12-13 kmpl.

Dimensions

The length of Toyota LC300 is 4985 mm, width 1980 mm and height 1945 mm. Its wheelbase is 2850 mm and curb weight is 2900 kg. At the same time, Fortuner is also a very big SUV in size and looks similar in stature.

Safety Features

The LC300 comes with features like 10 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill assist, hill descent control, speed alert and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The Fortuner also comes with basic safety features like ABS, EBD, dual airbags, rear parking camera etc.
