Interior and Features

The interior of the Nexon iCNG comes with a persona based theme which includes elements like a fully digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen system and ambient lighting. It also gets features like rear AC vents, voice commands and a wireless charger. On the other hand, the Swift Dzire CNG comes with a simple layout which gets a digital odometer, glove box and a basic infotainment system. The Nexon is far ahead in terms of features and technology here.

Engine and Performance

The Nexon iCNG comes with a CNG option with a 1.2L turbo engine that offers great power and driving experience. The K12M engine of the Dzire CNG produces 76.43 bhp of power and 98.5 Nm of torque, which is enough for daily city driving. The Nexon has a more powerful performance, but the Dzire offers more fuel efficiency. Nexon is better for sporty riding while Dzire is suitable for everyday use.

Safety – No one beats Nexon

Nexon iCNG is at the top in safety as it offers advanced features like 6 airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, reverse parking camera and ISOFIX. Swift Dzire CNG has two airbags, ABS and sensor based safety features. If safety is your priority, it would be better to choose Nexon as it is considered close to 5 star rating in GNCAP.

Price and Value for Money – Budget vs Features

The ex-showroom price of Tata Nexon iCNG starts at around ₹ 10.99 lakh, while Swift Dzire CNG starts at ₹ 6.56 lakh (approx). Dzire is priced quite affordably and also gives mileage up to 34.3 km/kg. However, Nexon is far ahead in features and style. If budget is your priority then Dzire is right, but if you want a feature-loaded, safe and stylish car then Nexon is the better choice.
