Tata Harrier EV: Launching on June 3, know its powerful features and price

Tata Motors is going to launch its most powerful electric SUV Harrier EV on June 3, 2025. This will be the company’s sixth electric car in India. Earlier, Tata launched Nexon EV, Punch EV, Tiago EV, Tigor EV and recently Curvv EV. Harrier EV will compete directly with popular electric SUVs like Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3.

What could be the price?

The estimated price of Tata Harrier EV can be between Rs 24 lakh to Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison, the price of Mahindra XEV 9e is between Rs 21.90 lakh to Rs 30.50 lakh and BYD Atto 3 is between Rs 24.99 lakh to Rs 33.99 lakh.

Power and battery pack information

Tata Harrier EV can get two battery pack options. Its high-spec variant is also likely to get the option of dual motor and AWD (all-wheel drive). Tata has confirmed that its powertrain will generate torque of up to 500Nm, which will give this SUV strong performance.

Range of more than 500KM and advanced features

The top variant of Harrier EV is expected to get a range of more than 500 km. It uses Tata’s new Gen 2 Acti.ev platform. Apart from this, features like V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) can also be given in this electric SUV like other EVs of Tata.

EV touch in exterior

The look of Harrier EV will be similar to its petrol-diesel version, but some special EV-specific changes have been made in it. Changes like new front grille, revised bumper, aero-optimized alloy wheels, and EV badging will be seen in it.

Premium feel will be available in the interior

The interior of this electric SUV will also have an EV touch. Some special features are as follows:

  • 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • Digital instrument cluster
  • Dual-tone interiors
  • Four-spoke steering wheel (with illuminated Tata logo)
  • Touch based HVAC panel
  • Small drive selector and rotary dial
