Tata Harrier EV Bookings from July 2 – 627km Range & Futuristic Features Unveiled!

To make a splash in the electric SUV segment in India, Tata Motors has introduced its new Harrier EV on June 3, 2025. The starting price of this electric SUV has been kept at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata has also confirmed that the official booking of Harrier EV will start from July 2. This vehicle will be available in three variants – Adventure, Fearless and Empowered.

Harrier EV is built on the Acti.ev+ platform and will give tough competition to vehicles like Hyundai Creta Electric and Mahindra XUV 9e. Its Adventure RWD variant will have a 65 kWh battery, while its top variants will get a larger 75 kWh battery which can give a driving range of up to 627 km. It will have both RWD and AWD variants and the max torque output will go up to 504 Nm.

Talking about the features, the entry-level variant will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will have the facility of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It has an audio system with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. Equipped with technology like digital instrument cluster, flat-bottom steering wheel, cruise control, wireless charging and USB Type-C ports (45W), this SUV gives a smart experience.

It gets keyless entry, auto AC, tilt and telescopic steering, sliding armrest, height-adjustable driver seat, manual lumbar support, split-folding rear seats and multi-drive modes like Eco, City, Sport and Drift with terrain modes – Rock Crawl, Mud Ruts, Snow/Grass, Sand and Custom.

Safety and advanced features include pedal shifters, electronic stability control, traction control, 4 disc brakes, multiple airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, auto hold with electronic parking brake. Apart from this, anti-theft alarm, rear washer-wiper, HD reverse camera, electronic ORVMs, puddle lamps, follow-me-home headlamps, OTA updates and Tata’s connected car suite are also available.

Talking about the exterior design, the Harrier EV looks similar to the regular ICE Harrier but some minor changes have been made to it. The RWD version will get 67 liters of front trunk space. Its 18-inch alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna, roof rails, LED projector headlamps, connected taillamps and exclusive Stealth Black paint scheme give it a premium look.

The Tata Harrier EV is not only strong in terms of range and power, but the luxury features available in it make it a perfect family EV. If you are looking for a stylish, future-ready and feature-loaded electric SUV, then definitely book it from July 2!
