Tata Motors is offering great discounts on its electric cars in June 2025. All variants of MY25 Tiago EV and Punch EV are getting a total discount of up to ₹ 40,000, which includes a green bonus of ₹ 20,000 and an exchange benefit of ₹ 20,000. At the same time, the total benefit on the old MY24 models is reaching ₹ 1 lakh with a discount of up to ₹ 85,000 and additional green bonus. The special thing is that the discount is applicable equally irrespective of the charger type or variant. This scheme of Tata is attracting customers to buy EV.
Tata has announced a similar discount on its 2025 model EV vehicles. Each variant of the Tiago EV and Punch EV is being offered with a green bonus of ₹ 20,000 and an exchange or scrappage benefit of ₹ 20,000, taking the total discount to ₹ 40,000. This discount is applicable on both mid-range and long-range variants, and the charger type is 3.3kW or 7.2kW ACFC – irrespective of the charger type.
The MR XE, MR XT, LR XT and LR XZ+ Tech Lux variants of the Tiago EV are getting the same discount of ₹ 40,000. The same ₹40,000 discount is being offered on Punch EV’s MR Smart, Smart+, all other MR variants, all LR variants (including 3.3kW and 7.2kW ACFC).
Tata has offered more variety of discounts in the 2024 models. The XE 3.3kW variant of the Tiago EV is getting a discount of ₹50,000. Among the XT variants, MR is getting benefits of up to ₹70,000 and LR is getting benefits of up to ₹85,000. The XZ+ and Tech Lux LR variants are getting discounts of up to ₹60,000, irrespective of whether they are equipped with a 3.3kW charger or a 7.2kW ACFC.
The 2024 models of the Punch EV are getting a discount of ₹ 40,000 on MR Smart and Smart+ variants, ₹ 50,000 on other MR variants and ₹ 50,000 on all LR variants. If customers take the LR Punch EV variant with 7.2kW ACFC charger, they get a discount of up to ₹ 70,000.
All variants of the Nexon EV 3.0 are being offered a fixed discount of ₹ 40,000. At the same time, a big discount of up to ₹ 70,000 is available on all variants of the Curvv EV.
An additional green bonus of ₹ 5,000 has been given on the MY24 Tiago EV XE 3.3kW variant. The XT MR variant also gets a bonus of ₹5,000, while the LR variant gets up to ₹15,000. The XZ+ and Tech Lux variants get an additional discount of ₹10,000. Variants with a 7.2kW charger also get a bonus of up to ₹10,000.
The Smart and Smart+ variants of the Punch EV get a green bonus of ₹5,000 and the rest of the MR variants get up to ₹20,000. All LR variants also get a bonus of ₹20,000, be it the 3.3kW or 7.2kW ACFC.
If you are thinking of buying a Tata EV car, the discounts on the MY24 models are higher, but the MY25 models also get a guaranteed discount of ₹40,000. Notably, the Tiago EV LR XT variant is offering total benefits of up to ₹ 1 lakh without ACFC in MY24, making it the most lucrative deal of June 2025.
