Tata Curvv
Tata Motors launched its first SUV-coupe Tata Curvv in the Indian market in September 2024. This vehicle has been in the news since its launch for its bold design, premium features and safety rating. Now in 2025, the company has increased the prices of Tata Curvv slightly. This change has been made very quietly, but it will definitely affect the customers, especially those who were already planning to buy this vehicle.
The special thing is that Tata Motors has still kept the base variant of this premium SUV available at a price of less than ₹ 10 lakh. With this, this SUV still remains an affordable option for those customers who want to buy a stylish and safe SUV on a budget.
The starting ex-showroom price of Tata Curvv has been kept at ₹ 9,99,990. This price maintains a psychological balance in the minds of the customers, as vehicles priced below ₹ 10 lakh are in high demand in the Indian market.
However, the company has increased the prices of some of its high-spec variants like Creative S GDI, Accomplished+ A GDI DCA and Creative+ S DCT versions by a marginal ₹3,000. At the same time, the price of its other variants has increased by up to ₹13,000.
Now the prices of Tata Curvv start from ₹9.99 lakh and go up to ₹19.51 lakh (ex-showroom). With this change in prices, customers turning to premium trims will have to pay a little more, but in terms of features and safety, it is still a value for money SUV in its segment.
The company has introduced the Tata Curvv in the market with three powerful engine options, so that customers can choose the engine according to their needs and preferences.
The first option is the 1.2 liter Revotron turbo petrol engine, which generates 118 horsepower and 170Nm of torque. This engine is perfect for those who drive in the city, as it offers both smooth performance and economical mileage.
The second option is Tata’s new 1.2 liter Hyperion GDI direct injection turbo petrol engine, which generates 123 horsepower and 225Nm of torque. This engine gives great pickup and strong throttle response on the highway, which is a great option for long drive enthusiasts.
The third option is the 1.5 liter Kryojet turbo diesel engine, which gives 116 horsepower and 260Nm of torque. The diesel engine is perfect for those customers who travel long distances and want to drive at low fuel cost.
With all engine options, Tata has given the option of 6-speed manual gearbox and 7-speed dual clutch automatic (DCA) transmission, so that the needs of every type of driver can be met.
Tata Curvv is also a very rich and premium SUV in terms of features. The smart and luxury features available in it make it different from other SUVs.
This SUV has flush door handles which come with welcome lights and give it a futuristic look. Apart from this, it gets 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels which make its presence on the road more impressive.
The Curvv has a gesture-based powered tailgate facility, so that you can open the boot space by just waving your hand. Apart from this, it has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and wireless connectivity.
This car has a panoramic sunroof which also has the option of mood lighting, which makes the interior of the car look very attractive and comfortable at night. Also, 6-way power adjust driver seat, ventilated front seats and reclining rear seats have been provided, which give a very comfortable experience on long journeys.
The Tata Curvv has received a 5-star safety rating from the Government of India’s Bharat NCAP, making it one of the safest SUVs.
Talking about safety features, it includes features like 6 airbags, 360 degree camera system, electrochromtic IRVM, hill descent control and automatic headlamps.
Along with this, this vehicle is equipped with Level-2 ADAS technology, which has advanced safety features like lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, auto emergency braking. All these features together make the Tata Curvv a smart and safe SUV.
The exterior design of the Tata Curvv makes it stand out from the crowd. It is based on the SUV-coupe concept, whose sloping roofline, aerodynamic body shape and sharp cuts give it a sporty and premium look.
Its front look is aggressive with daytime running lights, sharp LED headlamps and muscular bumpers. The side profile of the vehicle looks very attractive and its road presence is definitely worth seeing.
Tata Motors has established itself as a trusted brand among Indian customers over the years. After the success of models like Nexon, Harrier, and Safari, Tata Curvv is the next big step for the company.
Tata vehicles are especially liked for their strength, safety rating and better aftersales network. Now through Curvv, Tata has also moved towards leading in a new segment – SUV-coupe.
The Tata Curvv is an SUV that comes with the right balance of style, safety, performance and technology. The slight increase in its price is completely justified considering its features and offerings.
Priced from ₹ 10 Lakh to ₹ 19.5 Lakh, this SUV offers something for every category of customer – be it city driving, long travel or just looking for a stylish and safe vehicle.
If you are looking to buy a new SUV in 2025 that looks unique, drives well and is loaded with technology and safety, the Tata Curvv can prove to be a great option.
