Suzuki e-Access is a new electric scooter that is making a great comeback in the market with a strong range of 95KM, low maintenance and high-tech features. It gets advanced features like LFP battery, smooth throttle response, fast charging and maintenance-free drivetrain, which make it a perfect EV choice.
Suzuki has proved by using ‘Suzuki E-Technology’ in its new electric scooter e-Access that it is paying full attention not only to tradition but also to future technology. This technology focuses on two parts – high quality and superior driveability. High quality means strict testing, strong battery management and maintenance-free drivetrain, while superior driveability means smooth throttle response, three drive modes and excellent regenerative braking.
LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery has been used in e-Access, which is more durable, safe and long-lasting than NMC batteries. The life cycle of LFP batteries is two to three times more than NMC, which makes this scooter run with less maintenance and more reliability. Apart from this, the battery has been fitted in a strong box frame to protect it from shocks, water and heat.
The e-Access has been tested to the same strict standards as bikes like Hayabusa. Water, heat, shock, puncture and crush tests have been done on the battery so that it does not get damaged under any circumstances. Its connections have also been subjected to individual testing so that there are no technical flaws.
In this scooter, such a coordination has been made between the throttle and power that the rider gets a smooth and natural experience every time. This throttle response feels as if there is a 1:1 synchronization of power and throttle, which keeps every ride comfortable and in control.
In many electric scooters, as the battery discharges, the power output starts decreasing. But this does not happen in e-Access. Its inverter technology ensures that there is no decrease in power output and response even after the SoC (State of Charge) decreases.
The belt drive system has been provided in e-Access which neither requires greasing nor frequent adjustment. Its auto-tensioner keeps it in perfect condition automatically and its life is up to 70,000 kilometers or seven years. Its teeth are also designed in such a way that it works very quietly and smoothly.
This scooter has a 3.072 kWh fixed LFP battery which gives a range of up to 95 km. It generates a max power of 4.1 kW and a torque of 15 Nm. With a normal charger, this scooter gets charged from 0 to 100% in 6 hours 42 minutes, while with a fast charger it gets fully charged in just 2 hours 12 minutes.
The total weight of e-Access is 122 kg and its seat height is 765 mm, which makes it suitable for riders of all ages and heights. Its ground clearance is 160 mm and wheelbase is 1305 mm, which makes it stable even on bad roads.
This scooter gets telescopic oil damped suspension at the front and swingarm type oil damped suspension at the rear. For braking, disc brakes are provided at the front and drum brakes at the rear. Equipped with tubeless tyres and alloy wheels, this scooter offers great grip on the entire road.
This scooter comes with LED headlight, taillight and DRLs which give it a stylish look as well as great visibility. It also comes with a 12V, 5Ah maintenance-free battery that supports all the electronic systems.
If you are looking for an electric scooter that offers low maintenance, more range and smooth riding experience, then Suzuki e-Access is the perfect option for you. It is not only technologically advanced but also reflects Suzuki’s legacy, making it a reliable and long-lasting option.
