Dominar 400
Bajaj Auto has launched its famous sports tourer bike Dominar 400 in a new avatar in 2025. This time the company has updated both the Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 variants. While the ex-showroom Delhi price of Dominar 400 is ₹ 2.38 lakh, the price of Dominar 250 has been kept at ₹ 1.91 lakh.
The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 now has a “Ride-by-Wire” throttle system which controls this bike with an electronic throttle body. Through this technology, the rider can now use four different riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road. These modes manage the performance according to the riding conditions, which improves the control and traction of the bike.
The Dominar 250 still uses a mechanical throttle body but now it has four ABS modes. This is a new step in the segment which makes this bike more safe and user-friendly.
Keeping long rides in mind, Bajaj has designed a new handlebar in the new Dominar series. This design has been specially designed to reduce wrist pain so that long distance journeys can be more comfortable.
The new Dominar series now gets a new LCD display which comes with a bonded glass unit. Along with this, this speedometer is covered with a flap so that its reading remains clear in any weather. Apart from this, a GPS mount is already provided in the rear carrier, so that professional riders can use navigation even without a phone.
The Dominar 400 has the same 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that generates 39.42 bhp of power and 35 Nm of torque. At the same time, the Dominar 250 has a 249cc engine that produces 26.6 bhp of power and 23.5 Nm of torque. Both engines come with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper and assist clutch are also provided as standard.
The Dominar brand has become not just a bike but a trusted touring partner. Bajaj has promoted these bikes globally under the ‘Dominar Odysseys’ program. Under these Odysseys, Dominar has successfully crossed routes like the Arctic, Trans-Siberian Highway and covered a distance of more than 3 lakh kilometers.
The new Bajaj Dominar 400 has been priced at ₹2.38 lakh, which is ₹6000 more than the old model. But considering the new technology, better design and advanced features, this price is considered reasonable. The Dominar 250 has been priced at ₹1.91 lakh, which makes it a premium option in the 250cc segment.
The speedometer now uses a bonded glass unit, which protects it from the weather. The flap provided in it maintains better visibility even during rain or dust.
Bajaj has also upgraded the switchgears of the Dominar series. Now better tactile response will be seen in these switchgears, which has made changing modes easier and accurate.
The new Dominar has been designed keeping long rides in mind. Its handlebar is more comfortable and the riding position has also been optimized. Bajaj has designed it as a long journey partner more than a sports tourer.
If you are looking for a stylish, feature loaded and long riding bike then the 2025 Bajaj Dominar is a perfect option. Its Ride-by-Wire system, four riding modes, slipper clutch, new handlebar, GPS mount and touring friendly design make it a complete package.
The 2025 Bajaj Dominar series has once again proved that Bajaj deeply understands the needs of the Indian market. Both the new Dominar 400 and 250 versions are great in terms of features, comfort and performance. With new technologies and rider friendly upgrades, these bikes once again strengthen their place in the mid-segment sports tourer category. If you are looking for a traveling, adventure and touring friendly bike then the 2025 Dominar lineup can be a great option for you.
