Hyundai Motor India recorded a total sale of 44,024 units in June 2025. This figure remained almost stable as compared to May 2025, but the company’s sales declined by 12.13% as compared to June 2024. Creta continues to dominate Hyundai’s overall market share, while sales of popular models like Venue, Exterior and i20 declined sharply.
Hyundai Creta remained the company’s best-selling car in June 2025 as well, with a total of 15,786 units sold. This is a year-on-year decline of 3.11% as compared to June 2024, but compared to May 2025, sales increased by 6.23%. Creta’s share in Hyundai’s total sales in June was 35.86%, while Q2 CY2025 also saw a year-on-year growth of 2.72% with sales of 47,662 units.
Hyundai Venue sold 6,858 units in June 2025, down 30.66% from 9,890 units in June 2024. At the same time, its sales declined by 8.80% since May 2025. Venue’s share in total sales declined to 15.58%. Its total sales during Q2 stood at 22,331 units, down 21.19% compared to last year.
Exter sold 5,873 units in June 2025. This is 14.98% lower than last year. Its sales remained almost stable since May 2025 (-0.44%). Exter’s total sales in Q2 stood at 17,188 units, a YoY decline of 23.13%.
Aura’s sales stood at 5,413 units in June 2025, up 25.91% from June 2024. It also grew by 3.60% compared to May 2025. Aura’s total sales in Q2 stood at 14,862 units, witnessing a YoY growth of 12.10%. This is a positive sign for the company.

Hyundai Alcazar sold 1,174 units in June 2025, up 33.11% over June 2024 and up 27.33% over May 2025. Its total sales in Q2 stood at 3,113 units, showing a growth of 2.23% YoY.
June 2025 and Q2 CY2025 were a mixed bag for Hyundai. While models like Creta, Aura and Alcazar strengthened the company’s position, the sharp decline in sales of models like Venue, i20, Exter and Verna was a matter of concern. The extremely low sales of electric cars like IONIQ 5 show that Hyundai needs to make more efforts in India in the electric segment.
