Maruti
Maruti Suzuki’s May 2025 sales report has come and this time the figures are quite mixed. While on one hand there has been a decline in domestic sales, there has been a tremendous jump in exports.
Maruti sold 1,35,962 units domestically in May 2025, which is 5.58% less than May 2024. Even if compared to the previous month i.e. April 2025, there has been a decline of 1.98%. These figures clearly show that the demand in the domestic market has reduced slightly.
While there is a decline in the domestic market, exports saw a bumper growth of 79.76%. While 17,367 units were exported in May 2024, this figure reached 31,219 units in May 2025.

It will be interesting to see in the coming months whether domestic demand picks up again or exports will become Maruti’s new game changer.
