Electric

XEV 9e

Mahindra’s new electric SUV XEV 9e entered the sales chart for the first time and jumped straight to sixth place. Its 2,808 units were sold in June 2025. This figure shows that Mahindra’s electric strategy is now paying off and customers are showing enthusiasm towards this vehicle.

The XUV400 EV performed disappointingly. Only 231 units were sold which is 56.74% less than last year. Month-on-month figures also saw a decline of 19.51%.

Quarterly

Mahindra sold a total of 1,52,067 units in the Q2 CY 2025 (April-June) quarter, up 22.39% from 1,24,248 units in Q2 CY 2024. Vehicles like Scorpio/N, Thar and XUV700 led the growth, while new electric vehicles like XEV 9e and BE 6 added new energy to sales.

Mahindra Share

Mahindra’s market share stood at 14.9% in June 2025, putting it in a strong position in the SUV segment. The highest sales came from Scorpio/N (26.93%), Thar (20.17%) and Bolero (15.81%), indicating that the company’s core SUV lineup is still extremely popular among customers.

Mahindra’s June 2025 sales figures have made it clear that the company is moving strongly not only in the traditional SUV segment but also in the electric vehicle segment. While vehicles like Scorpio and Thar still form the backbone of the company, new EV models like XEV 9e and BE 6 are showing the way to the future. New versions and technical upgrades are expected to improve the performance of models like XUV3XO and XUV400, which are facing a decline, in the coming months.
