KTM 390 Adventure X 2025 Launched – Cruise Control ADV at ₹3.03 Lakh!

KTM 390 Adventure X hold in the adventure bike segment in the Indian market has been strong since the beginning. The company’s 390 Adventure series is specially designed keeping in mind those riders who expect reliable performance on every road. Now KTM has launched a new version of this series, 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X, which has been priced at ₹ 3.03 lakh ex-showroom. This price is ₹ 12,000 more than the old model, but the new features added to it fully justify this increased price.

This time KTM has included those features in the 390 Adventure X, which were earlier available only in the standard 390 Adventure. The biggest update is the availability of cruise control, cornering ABS, cornering traction control and riding modes in it.

Riding modes now have options like Street, Rain and Offroad, which give great balance and performance in different road conditions. Cruise control can be turned on/off with just one button, and the toggle switch makes it very easy to increase or decrease the speed.

Engine performance

The new KTM 390 Adventure X gets the same 399cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which produces 45 PS of power and 39 Nm of torque. This engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and gives tremendous performance in long distance travel.

This engine gives the same strength and throttle response of KTM, for which the brand is known. Be it city or mountain road, 390 Adventure X gives an amazing experience everywhere.

Suspension and braking

The suspension setup in the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X is the same old, but some cuts have also been made in it. While the front USD forks in the standard model are adjustable for compression and rebound, they are fixed in the Adventure X.

There is a monoshock suspension at the rear which supports only preload adjustment. For braking, a 320mm disc brake has been given in the front and a 240mm disc brake in the rear, which gives excellent stopping power in all conditions.

Design and Dimensions

The design of the Adventure X is largely the same as before. It gets 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels.

The seat height is 825mm, which is comfortable for riders of average height. The bike weighs around 181 kg and the fuel tank capacity is 14.5 liters, which is sufficient for long journeys.

Price

Despite being ₹ 12,000 more expensive than the older model, the new 390 Adventure X now comes with more features than before. Compared to the standard 390 Adventure, which is priced at ₹ 3.68 lakh, the X version is ₹ 65,000 cheaper and offers almost the same rider aids features.

This price makes it a strong contender in the budget adventure segment. Also, the updates in it make it an even better option for long distance touring.

The KTM 390 Adventure X competes directly with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The Himalayan 450 is an off-road focused bike and features features like switchable ABS, ride-by-wire and slip-assist clutch.

However, now the 390 Adventure X has become more technologically advanced due to the new features added by KTM. Yes, the lack of suspension adjustment is a bit of a letdown, but the rest of the features compensate for it.

If you want an adventure bike that lets you cruise on the highway as well as enjoy off-roading, then the 390 Adventure X can be a perfect choice.

Features like its cruise control, cornering ABS and multiple riding modes make it a high-tech bike that can compete with expensive big bikes.

Conclusion

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X has once again raised hopes in the Indian motorcycle market. It is not just a bike but an opportunity to take a step forward in the world of adventure riding.

Despite the increased price, the modern features added to it make it a great value for money option. If you are looking for a reliable, techno-friendly and performance-packed adventure bike, then this offering from KTM will surely touch your heart.
