The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is one of the most popular superbikes in India. It is known for its high performance, sharp design, and advanced features. Let’s take a closer look at what this machine has to offer.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is priced at Rs 17,93,000 (ex-showroom, India). Compared to its superbike rivals, it is relatively affordable for the level of performance it provides.
Kawasaki offers the ZX-10R in two bold and sporty colour schemes:
At the heart of the Ninja ZX-10R is a 998cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine. This powerful engine produces 203 PS of power and 114.9 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and comes with a slip-and-assist clutch along with a bi-directional quick shifter for smoother and faster gear changes.
This engine makes the ZX-10R a beast on the track and the road, offering thrilling acceleration and top speeds.
The ZX-10R has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres and delivers a mileage of about 12 kmpl (kilometres per litre). This gives it a range of around 200 km on a full tank, depending on riding conditions.
The bike is built on a twin-spar aluminium frame, which is strong yet lightweight. It runs on 17-inch wheels with wide tyres for better grip and stability.
Front suspension: 43mm inverted forks with adjustable compression and rebound.
Rear suspension: Gas-charged monoshock with preload, rebound, and compression adjustability.
For braking, the ZX-10R comes equipped with 330mm twin discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear, both supported by dual-channel ABS for safer braking.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R is packed with modern features to enhance both performance and rider comfort:
BMW S 1000 RR – It produces more power and comes with more advanced tech.
Aprilia RSV4 – Easier to ride and more premium, but also more expensive than the ZX-10R.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is perfect for riders who want:
Whether you are a track enthusiast or someone who loves weekend rides, the ZX-10R promises excitement and performance at a competitive price
