Hyundai Ioniq
Hyundai Ioniq has finally unveiled its new high-performance electric car Ioniq 6 N at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (UK). This is the company’s second N-badged electric car, which has come after Ioniq 5 N and in terms of performance, it competes with supercars.
Hyundai Ioniq 6 N has a dual electric motor setup, which together generate a total power of 650 PS and torque of 770 Nm. When you activate the Launch Control mode, this car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Its top speed is an astonishing 257 km/h.
This electric beast is not just built for speed, but also for superb handling and stability on the track. It features Hyundai’s new “N Battery” Thermal Management System that keeps the battery cool and stable in different track conditions.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N not only has high-end technology, but its looks have also been made completely aerodynamic and aggressive. This includes a new swan-neck rear spoiler, flared wheel arches, and lower stance that not only look great but also improve performance.
This model features a new version of Hyundai’s signature performance color – Performance Blue Pearl, which comes with even more depth and metallic texture.
The Ioniq 6 N is built on Hyundai’s E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform). The specialty of this platform is its rigid architecture, which provides excellent grip and balance to the car.
With a new electronically controlled damping system and changes in suspension geometry, the car offers excellent stability even at high speeds.
Hyundai not only launched the Ioniq 6 N at this festival, but also introduced its entire N lineup, which included WRC Rally 1 Hybrid, Ioniq 5 N TA Spec and other N-badged models.
Hyundai also kept an interactive pavilion and a private grandstand access for customers, in which limited edition merchandise was available.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N is not just an electric car, but a full-on performance machine, designed to give a new experience to the driver. Its technology, design and performance together make it a next-generation electric sports car.
