Hyundai Aura S AMT Launched – 6 Airbags, ESC, AMT Gearbox Under ₹8.1 Lakh!

Hyundai Aura S AMT: Hyundai has launched the Aura S AMT variant at an ex-showroom price of ₹ 8.08 lakh, which has now become Aura’s cheapest automatic car. This variant comes with a 1.2L petrol engine and 5-speed AMT gearbox. It has safety features like 6 airbags, ESC, hill start assist, TPMS, LED DRLs, electric folding ORVMs. Also, features like rear AC vent, steering mounted audio control and 2-DIN system have been provided in it. This new variant of Hyundai is for those customers who are looking for more safety and comfort at a lower price.

Launch

Hyundai Motor India has launched the new S AMT variant of its popular compact sedan Aura in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price of this new variant has been kept at ₹ 8.08 lakh. Earlier, the automatic gearbox was available only in the Aura SX + variant, which was priced at ₹ 8.95 lakh. In such a situation, the new S AMT variant has become ₹ 87,000 more affordable than the old SX +.

Gearbox

The Hyundai Aura S AMT variant promises to offer almost the same driving comfort at a lower price than the SX +. This variant of Hyundai is special for those customers who are looking for a reliable automatic car on a low budget. This variant gets a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder Kappa petrol engine, which generates 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

Hyundai Aura S AMT Safety

The Hyundai Aura S AMT has been made not only economical but also safe. This variant has been given advanced safety features like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill Start Assist Control (HAC). Apart from this, it also includes features like Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), and Electric Folding ORVMs with LED Turn Indicators.

Comfort

Hyundai Aura S AMT has also added many comfort features for the convenience of customers in this variant. It has features like remote central locking, rear defogger, follow me home headlamps, 15-inch steel wheels, rear seat armrest and AC vent, 2-DIN audio system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted audio control, 4 speakers, and front and rear 12V charging ports.

Price

The Hyundai Aura S AMT variant is priced ₹ 70,000 more than its manual version. The ex-showroom price of Aura S MT is ₹ 7.38 lakh, while S AMT is available for ₹ 8.08 lakh. With the arrival of this variant, Aura now has two automatic options – S AMT and SX+ AMT.
