Honda has launched the new version of its most popular scooter Activa in India, the Honda Activa 7G 2025. Activa has become a symbol of trust and performance in the Indian two-wheeler market, and every new model of it lives up to the expectations of the people. This time Honda has made major improvements in design, riding quality and mileage so that this scooter can again sit on the number one chair.
The new Honda Activa 7G has the same reliable 109.51cc air-cooled, single cylinder BS6 engine, which has been made smoother and more fuel efficient than before. This engine generates 7.73 bhp of power @ 8000 rpm and 8.90 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm.
Honda Activa 7G has further tuned the engine this time, due to which the throttle response has become even smoother now. Also, the engine is equipped with Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology which provides better combustion, less vibration and quieter riding experience.
Honda Activa 7G gets subtle but effective design updates. While retaining the traditional Activa style, it includes sharp body panels, new LED headlight design, and dual tone color schemes. The front apron now looks more aerodynamic.
Apart from this, chrome strip, body-colored mirrors, and stylish grab rail give it a premium look. The scooter now looks more modern and family-friendly than before.
Activa 7G has a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), which makes the riding completely automatic. There is no need for any gear shifting, making this scooter a comfortable option for people of all ages.
The biggest strength of the Activa is its comfortable riding experience. In 7G, it gets even better. Its telescopic front suspension and 3-step adjustable rear suspension provide comfort even over potholes and bad roads.
Its light weight (approximately 105 kg) and balanced chassis make it easy to maneuver in traffic. Be it a female rider, elderly or students – it is suitable for all.
Honda has included many modern features in the Activa 7G this time, which make it completely suitable for today’s needs. It now has LED headlight and taillight which adds style along with better visibility. The scooter has a new digital-analog meter console which also includes a real-time mileage display.
A Silent Start system has been provided with ACG motor to make starting easy and silent. Apart from this, smart technology like Honda Smart Key is available, so that you can take advantage of features like keyless start, anti-theft alert and remote boot opening.
Features like side stand engine cut-off, engine start/stop switch, and external fuel filler cap which now allows filling the tank without lifting the seat make the Activa 7G smarter and more user-friendly than ever.
Honda claims that the new Activa 7G can deliver a mileage of up to 60 kmpl. In real world conditions, this scooter gives an average mileage of 50–55 kmpl, which is great for daily commute.
