Hero Xtreme
The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth variant is powered by a powerful 163.2 cc engine, which generates maximum power of 14.79 bhp at 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 14 Nm at 6500 rpm. With the help of this engine, this bike is capable of achieving a top speed of 107 kmph, which provides a great riding experience for both city and highway.
The Xtreme 160R Stealth variant has a single channel ABS system, which ensures safe braking. The 276 mm disc brake at the front comes with two piston calipers, which helps in maintaining stability even at high speeds. This braking system gives the rider the experience of riding the bike with more confidence.
This bike has 37 mm diameter telescopic front suspension, which also has anti-friction bush, which enhances the smooth riding experience. There is a 7-step adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear, which allows the rider to customize the ride quality as per his convenience. This makes the bike run smoothly even on rough roads.
The curb weight of the Hero Xtreme 160R is only 139.5 kg, which makes this bike light and easy to control. Its seat height is 790 mm and ground clearance is 167 mm, which is suitable for Indian roads. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters, which makes it easy to cover long distances.
The company offers a standard warranty of 5 years or 70,000 km with this bike, which provides additional confidence to the consumers. The service schedule is also very well organized. The first service is scheduled between 500 to 750 km or 60 days, the second between 3000 to 3500 km or 160 days, the third between 6000 to 6500 km or 260 days and the fourth service between 9000 to 9500 km or 12,000 to 12,500 days.
This bike has a fully digital instrument console, which has an LCD display. This display clearly shows all the important information like speed, fuel level, trip meter etc. during riding. Although it does not have a touchscreen, its digital display is perfect in both technology and design.
The Xtreme 160R Stealth has a USB charging port for the convenience of the rider, through which devices like mobile can be charged. A saree guard has also been included for safety. Although features like quickshifter or traction control are not provided in this variant, it still fulfills the basic safety requirements very well.
The lighting unit of this bike is completely LED based, which includes headlight, brake light and tail light. Apart from this, daytime running lights (DRLs) and hazard warning lights are also provided, which ensure safe riding at night and in bad weather.
The Xtreme 160R has a seat for the pillion rider, but it does not have under seat storage or front storage box. The pillion backrest is also not present in this variant, which makes this bike more sporty and performance focused.
Hero’s exclusive XSENS technology is also a part of this bike, which makes the riding experience more smart and safe. This technology optimises the engine’s performance, giving the bike a more fuel-efficient and cleaner operation.
