Mahindra performed well in the SUV segment in June 2025, selling a total of 47,306 units. Popular models like Scorpio and Thar contributed significantly to the sales, while new electric SUVs like XEV 9e and BE 6 also made a strong debut. Although sales of XUV3XO and XUV400 EV saw a slight decline, the company’s overall sales remained strong at 18% year-on-year. Sales
Mahindra & Mahindra has once again proved itself to be the powerhouse of the SUV market in June 2025. The company’s total domestic sales stood at 47,306 units, registering a growth of 18.20% as against 40,022 units sold in June 2024 last year. However, sales declined by 9.77% as against May 2025, when the company sold 52,431 units.
Scorpio
Mahindra’s best-selling SUV was the Scorpio / Scorpio-N, with 12,740 units sold in June 2025. This is a growth of 3.52% as compared to June 2024. However, its sales in May 2025 were 14,401 units, registering a monthly decline of 11.53%.
Thar
The June 2025 sales of Thar / ROXX surprised everyone. A total of 9,542 units were sold, which is 77.49% more than 5,376 units last year. It emerged as the second best-selling model in Mahindra’s portfolio. However, compared to May 2025, sales declined by 8.15%.
Bolero
Bolero has once again maintained its hold, but the growth was marginal. In June 2025, 7,478 units of Bolero were sold, which shows a growth of only 1.53% over last year. At the same time, its sales have decreased by 16.37% compared to May 2025.
XUV3XO
June sales of the new generation XUV3XO were a bit disappointing. It stood at fourth place with sales of 7,089 units. However, its sales declined by 16.60% in year-on-year figures. Sales also declined by 10.85% when compared month-on-month.
XUV700
The XUV700 performed well and ranked fifth with sales of 6,198 units in June 2025. It registered a year-on-year growth of 4.55%, although there was a decline of 3.68% in monthly comparison.
Electric
XEV 9e
Mahindra’s new electric SUV XEV 9e entered the sales chart for the first time and jumped straight to sixth place. Its 2,808 units were sold in June 2025. This figure shows that Mahindra’s electric strategy is now paying off and customers are showing enthusiasm towards this vehicle.
BE 6
Another new EV, BE 6 sold 1,203 units in June. This is another success story for the company as this is also an all-new model, deliveries of which began in June.
XUV400 EV
The XUV400 EV performed disappointingly. Only 231 units were sold which is 56.74% less than last year. Month-on-month figures also saw a decline of 19.51%.
Marazzo
Mahindra’s MPV Marazzo saw an unexpected jump in sales. 17 units were sold in June 2025, which shows a growth of 325% compared to only 4 units in May 2025. It may be a small number, but the percentage of growth is phenomenal.
Quarterly
Mahindra sold a total of 1,52,067 units in the Q2 CY 2025 (April-June) quarter, up 22.39% from 1,24,248 units in Q2 CY 2024. Vehicles like Scorpio/N, Thar and XUV700 led the growth, while new electric vehicles like XEV 9e and BE 6 added new energy to sales.
Mahindra Share
Mahindra’s market share stood at 14.9% in June 2025, putting it in a strong position in the SUV segment. The highest sales came from Scorpio/N (26.93%), Thar (20.17%) and Bolero (15.81%), indicating that the company’s core SUV lineup is still extremely popular among customers.
Mahindra’s June 2025 sales figures have made it clear that the company is moving strongly not only in the traditional SUV segment but also in the electric vehicle segment. While vehicles like Scorpio and Thar still form the backbone of the company, new EV models like XEV 9e and BE 6 are showing the way to the future. New versions and technical upgrades are expected to improve the performance of models like XUV3XO and XUV400, which are facing a decline, in the coming months.
