Triumph Motorcycles has launched its popular bike Speed T4 in India in a new attractive color option Baja Orange. This new shade was previously seen on Triumph’s bigger bikes like Scrambler 1200 XE and Street Triple 765 R. With this great color scheme, the bike has been priced at ₹ 2.05 lakh ex-showroom.
No mechanical changes, but performance is strong
Although no technical changes have been made to the bike except the new color, its performance is already strong. It has a 398.15cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 31 PS of max power @ 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm. This engine gives excellent response especially in the 3,500–5,500 rpm range, making it perfect for both city traffic and highway riding.
Transmission and Braking System
This motorcycle gets a 6-speed gearbox, wet multi-plate slip and assist clutch and O-ring chain final drive setup. For braking, it gets a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear, both with dual-channel ABS.
Stylish Frame and Suspension Setup
The Triumph Speed T4 has a hybrid spine/perimeter tubular steel frame and twin-sided aluminum swingarm. The suspension setup includes 43mm telescopic forks at the front and a gas monoshock RSU at the rear that comes with preload adjustment.

Great Design and Features
The look of this motorcycle has now become even more stylish. Visual elements like brushed steel exhaust, 3D embossed Speed T4 badging, and tire striping give it a more classic look. Also, it includes a multi-function LCD display with analog speedometer.
Dimensions and Weight
The Triumph Speed T4 not only has an attractive design but its dimensions and weight provide it with a perfect riding experience. The seat height of this bike is 806 mm, which is comfortable for most riders. Its wheelbase is 1406 mm, which gives it excellent stability. The bike has a 13-litre fuel tank, which eliminates the need to refuel frequently during long rides.
Its fully filled weight is 180 kg, which keeps it balanced and under control. Being responsible towards the environment, this bike emits 73.5 g/km of CO2 as per BS6 standards, making it an eco-friendly option.
Colour options and sales jump
Apart from Baja Orange, the Triumph Speed T4 now also gets options like Lava Red with White, Caspian Blue with White, and Phantom Black. Since the beginning of FY25, its sales have seen a tremendous jump. According to Triumph, it has registered 30% growth in the 400cc segment and the Speed T4 and Scrambler 400 have now reached the second position in the classic segment.
Triumph Scrambler 400XC also launched
Recently, Triumph has also launched the Scrambler 400 XC, which has been priced at ₹ 2.94 lakh ex-showroom. It has been given many new updates and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with dual-purpose tyres.
